Participation in the commissioning of the hot mega-module of SABA Steel Persian Gulf with a capacity of 1,500,000 tons of hot briquette production (HBI) per year has been carried out by Abtin Steel technology Company. SABA Persian Gulf Steel Mega-module entered the production cycle as the first HBI manufacturing company in IRAN with MIDREX technology. There are more than 35,000 man hours of specialized services have been provided by the ASTEC Company’s experts and technicians which the important topics can be summarized as follows:

• Providing specialized and experienced skilled team for hot start-up of the mega module unit
• Cooperation with direct reduction personnel in the implementation of production, maintenance operations
• Transfer of exploitation experiences to the exploitation personnel of SABA Steel Persian Gulf Direct reduction unit
